Miniature linear guide which is lubricated by a polymer containing a lubricant

A miniature linear guide provides for a guide rail and a slider, which is fitted in within the guide rail, in a manner capable of sliding in the axial direction, by a number of balls, and which is a one-piece assembly of a slider body and a circulator which is fitted in in the concave portion of the slider body, and which has internal unloaded ball circulation paths extending in the axial direction. Since a polymer member containing a lubricant is provided between the unloaded ball circulation paths in such a manner that it contacts the balls, the lubricant emerges slowly from the polymer member in order to be supplied automatically onto the surfaces of the balls over an extended period, thereby ensuring a long service life of the miniature linear guide.
