PURPOSE:To provide an optical fiber call equipment which can surely perform call between a repeater station and a working site while simplifying the configuration without oscillating the equipment. CONSTITUTION:This equipment is composed of a base unit and a slave unit 19. The base unit is provided with an FM modulation part for making the emitted light, which is modulated based on a voice signal, of a light source incident from the end face of an optical fiber 21, driving part, optic/electric transducer for demodulating the voice signal from the light propagated inside the optical fiber 21 and emitted from the end face, amplifier part and FM demodulation part. The slave unit 19 is provided with a local injection device 30 to make the emitted light, which is modulated based on the voice signal, of a light source 25 incident from a bending part 21b, and local detection device 35 for demodulating the voice signal from light leaked from a bending part 21a. |
