PURPOSE: To prevent the occurrence of static electricity on an oriented film and to reduce the number of production processes by rubbing the oriented film while washing it with deionized water. CONSTITUTION: A carrying mechanism 12 is used to place a glass substrate 13, where the oriented film is printed, under a brush and rubbing roll 11, and the brush and rubbing roll 11 are rotated while supplying deionized water through a deionized water supply mechanism 15, and the carrying mechanism 12 is moved to perform rubbing. Deionized water 19 and an ultrasonic oscillator 17 are used to wash the glass substrate 13 in a bath 16, and an air knife nozzle 14 is used to dry it. The brush and rubbing roll 11 can be vertically moved and be rotated at 360 deg. to determine a desired rubbing direction, and rotation of the carrying mechanism 12 is adjusted to change the rubbing density. |
