PURPOSE:To completely cut off motive power and stop the driving of an oil pump when a motive power cutoff clutch is disengaged, by providing a motive power cutoff unit in series with a fluid coupling and the oil pump. CONSTITUTION:An oil pump 17 is provided between the input and output members of a fluid coupling 11. A motive power cutoff clutch 13 is provided in series with the fluid coupling 11 and the oil pump 17 so that a turbine is disconnected from an output shaft 103, goes into a freely rotatable state and the same revolution speed as an input shaft 101 when the clutch 13 is disengaged. At that time, the oil pump 17 is not rotatively driven but stops working, and the transmission of motive power between the input shaft 101 and the output shaft 103 is surely cut off. |
