PRODUCTION OF BRANCHED OLEFIN

摘要

PURPOSE:To provide an industrial and advantageous method for producing a branched olefin in which the selectivity for the branched olefin can be en hanced while maintaining the conversion rate of the straight-chain olefin; the branched olefin can be obtained in high yield and a catalyst is further hardly deteriorated. CONSTITUTION:The characteristic of this method for producing a branched olefin comprises carrying out the skeletal isomerization of a straight-chain olefin in the presence of a silica alumina catalyst having 5-30wt.% silica content and 0.05-0.25 intensity ratio (ISi/IAl) according to the X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS).
