PURPOSE:To provide the navigation device in which passing time is easily discriminated from the display of a traveling locus. CONSTITUTION:The navigation device is provided with a detection means 1 for a driver's own vehicle position, a map data storage means 4, and a display means 6 for displaying a map in the vicinity of the position detected by the detection means 4 based on the map data stored in the map data storage means 4 and displays the driver's own vehicle position detected by the detection means 1 on the map displayed on the display means 6, the driver's own vehicle position detected by the detection means is stored at every 1st prescribed time and the stored the driver's own vehicle position is displayed on a map displayed by the display means 6 and the display mode of the driver's own vehicle position to be stored is changed at every 2nd prescribed time. |
