A rotor comprising a ring and a solid disc with movable blade plates mounted between them, the said plates being provided with a guide pin, rotates in a circular motion around a (cylindrical) solid body shaped like a piston and mounted eccentrically in the housing and, in the process, creates, by positive guidance of the blade plates, crescent-shaped chambers whose volume varies in accordance with the arrangement of the solid body relative to the area of the circle and thereby produce compressed air or compressed fuel mixture. As a result, offset inlet openings in the intake region bring about, in their capacity as mixing chambers, additional mixture formation in the case of petrol and air. Technical object: simplification of the combustion process and ecologically sound combustion (long-time combustion, gas scavenging and fresh-gas filling without residual gases). Solution: multi-cell rotation about a solid body by a double rotor with alternate combustion-space formation. Area of application: land vehicles, rail vehicles, ships and aircraft and static installations.
