An appliance for dental replacement, orthodontic treatment or similar dental treatments comprises a component of a cured casting resin resting on the gums and/or palate. This component is anchored with a wire-like fastening element made of an aromatic thermoplastic, in particular a polyether ether ketone, on the teeth that remain or are to be regulated. For connection of the fastening element to the casting resin component it is provided on one end with bends and cast into the casting resin component.
