PURPOSE:To reduce a fluctuation in positions of printed characters caused by vibration of the device during printing in the electronic photographic device having an optical system for a laser beam and a polygon mirror, photosensing drum and plural form feed sections. CONSTITUTION:A displacement sensor 11 is provided to an optical system 10 to detect a relative deviation between the optical system 10 and a photosensing drum 5 due to vibration and an oscillation timing of a laser driver circuit 13 is corrected via an arithmetic operation circuit 12. Thus, a fluctuation in positions of printed characters caused is reduced or eliminated.
