In a push-in coupling for connecting two fluid lines (1, 2), a coupling ring (11) is connected in a positive-locking manner to a pipe (4) surrounding the first fluid line (1) between two corrugations (5, 6) and is provided with elastically flexible retaining arms (12) which can be interlocked with a radial securing surface (14) of the second fluid line (2) when coaxially fitting the fluid lines (1, 2) together for the axial connection of the fluid lines (1, 2). A sealing ring (3) is arranged in an annular space defined by the assembled fluid lines (1, 2), an inner shoulder (19) of the second fluid line (2), and the front corrugation (5). The second fluid line (2) has a conical flank (17) widening radially up to its free end. In order to reduce the amount of material required for the second fluid line (2) and yet ensure sufficiently high resistance against lateral deflection of the first fluid line in the second, provision is made for the corrugation (5) lying next to the front end of the second fluid line (2) to be supported on the inner surface of the second fluid line (2) after the first fluid line (1) is inserted into the second fluid line (2), and for a correspondingly conically formed surface (18) of the one end of the pipe (4) to bear in an adapted manner against the radially widening flank (17) of the second fluid line (2) after the first fluid line (1) is inserted into the second fluid line (2). <IMAGE>
