PURPOSE:To obtain a data transmission system in which high efficiency and low power consumption are realized by preventing increase in a communication time even when terminal equipments are connected through a radio channel. CONSTITUTION:A radio equipment master set 11a starts a radio equipment slave set 11b periodically to read measured data by a meter 12 and to record the data to a recording section 6, a center equipment 7 sends a call to a terminal equipment network controller 10 via telephone lines 8a, 8b to allow the terminal equipment network controller 10 to start a radio equipment master set 11a thereby allowing the radio equipment master set 11a to send the measured data recorded by the recording section 6 to the center equipment 7. After the radio equipment master set 11a executes transmission processing of the measured data to the center equipment 7, the radio equipment master set 11a starts the radio equipment slave set 11b to read newest measured data of the meter 12, and when the newest measured data to be read differ from the measured data recorded in the recording section 6, the radio equipment master set 11a sends the newest measured data to the center equipment 7 through the terminal equipment network controller 10 and a telephone line. |
