<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the weight of a transformer and to secure a creeping distance from a high-voltage charging section of a high voltage-side coil with a little insulating compound by sealing the high voltage-side coil with the insulating compound and by forming a projecting insulating section which projects on the side of the high voltage-side coil around the high-voltage charging section. CONSTITUTION:In a coil case 23, a secondary-side coil K2 is loosely fit on a hanger tube 25. A secondary-side coil bobbin of the secondary-side coil K2 is constituted of a cylindrical body 28 and a plurality of flanges 29 which are formed on the outer face of the body 28. Between each two flanges 29 of the body 28, a secondary-side coil wire 30 is wound. The secondary-side coil wire 30 is impregnated with insulating compound 33 to insulate the secondary-side coil K2. Projecting sections 39 and 40 are filled with insulating compound 33 to form projecting insulating sections 41 and 42. By this method, a transformer can be light-weighted and a creeping distance from a high-voltage charging section of the high voltage-side coil can be secured with a little insulating compound.</p> |
