<p>The thermal insulation brick using lightweight aggregate is manufactured by (a) mixing 10-60 wt.% fillite(coal floasters), 10-40 wt.% diatomaceous earth (diatomite), 20-30 wt.% bentonite or clay and 10-20 wt.% perlite, (b) adding 1-3 % molasses, less than 40 liters sawdust for enhancing spalling resistance and water to this mixture, controlling water content to be 20-30 % , (c) drying and pressing the above mixture, firing at 850-950 deg.C for 50-60 min.</p> |
