MULTILAYER COMPOSITE SCREEN

PURPOSE:To provide a multilayer screen which is easy to manufacture at a reduced manufacturing cost by reducing the thickness of the whole screen while performing the functions as a filter in two or more layers. CONSTITUTION:A filter 2 of the 1st layer constituted is such a member that wedge wires 4 are arranged parallel to each other and continuous slits 5 are each formed between the wires and a filter 3 of the 2nd layer constituted in such a manner that wedge wires 6 are arranged parallel to each other and continuous slits 7 are each formed between the wires are arranged so that they may perpendicularly intersect each other. PrOtruded lines formed on the wedge wires 6 and lower projections 4b of the wedge wires 4 are stuck to each other by the electric resistance weld.
