The door stop is made up of an assembly including an arm (6) which pivots about an axle (4). The arm is arranged between the two parts (2,3) of a bracket (1). A spring steel ring (5) is located between the axle and the two parts of the bracket. The bracket is drilled (21,31) so as to accommodate the ring and axle. The ring is located in the upper drilled hole (21). The axle has an enlarged upper area (41) corresponding to the height of the upper drilled hole. It also has an area of reduced size (42) separated by a shoulder (45) from the enlarged upper area. The reduced area is positioned according to the space between the two parts of the bracket. ADVANTAGE-The device helps to reduce shocks generated when operating the door. |
