<p>PURPOSE:To provide a digital information reproducing device capable of reduc ing the omission of detection at the time of reproducing such as the time of high-speed retrieval of specified information such as a program number and shortening the time required for executing the function from the relevant detec tion up to program searching, etc. CONSTITUTION:ID information recorded on a magnetic tape by PCM of an A system e.g. a program number is retrieved at high speed and the program searching of a desired program is executed.
