The invention relates to a primer composition for the adhesion of a plastic to a substrate, especially in the industry of glass panes for motor vehicles. The composition according to the invention essentially comprises a copolymer of polyvinyl chloride having free hydroxyl groups. The invention proposes processes for the treatment of a glass pane using this composition. The invention also proposes uses of this composition for the adhesion of plastics to the glass and for the adhesion of an adhesive bead to a plastic.
