PURPOSE:To provide an electric automobile which can run to the nearby point where a commercial power is available, and run to a service station or a driver' s home after being charged by the commercial power source, in the case that it consumes battery power during run and that the running capacity drops. CONSTITUTION:This electric automobile is provided with a vehicle equipment 41 which has electric equipment including a motor 10 for driving power wheels, an accumulator 20 which supplies the vehicle equipment 41 with power, a charger 23 which charges the accumulator 20, and a changeover means 31 which connects the accumulator 20 with the vehicle 41 in running and releases the connection between the accumulator 20 and the vehicle 41, and next connects the accumulator 20 with the charger 23 when the charger 23 is connected with a commercial power source 45 after stoppage of running. |
