PURPOSE:To provide a detergent composition containing a polypropylene glycol monoalkyl ether compound, etc., in a specific ratio, not having any problem on toxicity and smell, excellent in its detergency for fluxes, fats, oils, etc., excellent in handleability. durability and low foamability, and useful for printed circuit boards, etc. CONSTITUTION:The composition comprises at least (A)5-70wt.% of a polypropylene glycol monoalkyl ether of formula I (R<1> is 3-5C alkyl; m is 2-4), (B) 15-80wt.% of a polyethylene glycol alkyl ether of formula II (R<2> is 2-4C alkyl; R<3> is H, R<2>; n is 2-4), (C) 5-15wt.% of an alkanolamine of formula III (R<4> is H, 1-2C alkyl, hydroxyalkyl), (D) 5-10wt.% of water, and (E) 0.5-5wt.% of a silicone defoaming agent, an alcoholic defoaming agent and/or an alkylphenolic defoaming agent, the weight ratio of the components A:B being 0.1-5:1. |
