<p>PURPOSE:To improve the accuracy of shape of a steel plate by controlling the heat crown of a roll with a heating device. CONSTITUTION:In a method for controlling the shape of the plate by plate rolling, heating output and heating width are controlled by using induction heating devices 6-9 and the shape of the steel plate 5 is controlled by rolling it between work rolls 1, 2 on which an arbitrary heat crown is formed. Consequently, when rolling is performed to convert a large width stock into a small width stock, the flat steel plate 5 constrained in longitudinal elongation is produced.</p> |
