PURPOSE:To obtain a flexible system easily correcting the contents (prices, selling periods, etc.) of a catalogue. CONSTITUTION:A terminal body 200 is provided with a system control part 201, and when required commodity genre, price, paying method, etc., are inputted from an input part 203, an electronic publishing medium such as a CD-ROM storing catalogue information is accessed and a corresponding commodity is displayed on a display part 202. When purchase requesting operation is executed while observing the displayed commodity, ordering information is transmitted to a selling company through a MODEM 205 and a telephone line and a host control part 300 executes the information processing of selling success or failure. A system control part 201 is provided with a rewritable storage part 221, and when a part of the contents of the CD-ROM or the like is changed, changing data (a program, a price, validity term information, etc.,) are requested to the control part 300 and commodity purchasing data processing is executed by using an up-to-data program, up-to-data, and so on. |
