The extended unfolded cover is guided in a common straight plane on or in the guides. The cover has substantially rigid areas (1a) extending across the pull-out direction and connected by flexible intermediate areas (1b, 1c). Each successive flexible intermediate area has a different width so that the size of the wider interspace corresponds at least to twice the value of the difference between the thickness of the rigid areas and the thickness of the flexible areas. A cleaning strip at the inlet to the magazine wipes off any dust. ADVANTAGE- A flat water-tight surface cover is produced with sufficient flexibility.
