PURPOSE:To reduce manhours for work and to improve strength of a differential gear case by providing a ring gear mounting bolt threaded part positioned on a pinion shaft axial line in the differential gear case, and extending a ring gear mounting bolt to pinion shaft both side locations. CONSTITUTION:In the case of building a differential gear 2, differential pinion gears 12-1, 12-2 mounted on a pinion shaft 10 are meshed with differential side gears 14-1, 14-2 in a differential gear case 6, to arrange the pinion shaft 10 in the differential gear case 6 into which a ring gear 4 is mounted by a ring gear mounting bolt 8. Here is brought a point end location of the ring gear mounting bolt 8 into contact with a point end location of the pinion shaft 10, to perform positioning thereof. In this way, a number of part items of the differential gear 2 and labor hours for work of the differential gear case 6 can be reduced to low maintain the cost of manufacture, and strength of the differential gear case 6 can be improved.
