The invention concerns a vehicle (1) designed to spray liquids on high plants (15) growing in parallel rows. Mounted on the chassis (2) of the vehicle (1) are a tank (3), a blower (4) and an articulated arm which extends out over the row of plants (15) and down the other side. The arm comprises uprights (5), longitudinal-traverse units (6) mounted on the uprights (5), two jointed-bar parallelograms (7) on each longitudinal-traverse unit (6) and a suspension unit (8) at the end of each jointed-bar parallelogram (7). Suspended approximately vertically from the suspension units (8) by means of pipes (92) are main screens (90) with, above them, additional, inclined screens (91). The screens (90, 91) have approximately W-section vanes spaced a certain distance apart designed to redirect the air flow several times. |
