PURPOSE:To easily prepare a rhythm pattern rich in aleatary by deciding the rhythm pattern based on bar code data read from bar codes. CONSTITUTION:A bar code BC is read by a bar code scanner and based on the numerical data, any relevant rhythm pattern is selected out of plural rhythm patterns previously stored for each instrumental sound of a rhythm system. The '6' of the third digit from the left is made corresponding to a bass drum, and afterwards, the numbers from the 4th digit to the 12 digit are successively made correspondent to a snare drum, low conga, high bongo, rim shot, cymbals, high hut, maracas, shaker and whistle respectively. When the instrument is started in a play mode, the respective instrumental sounds are outputted respectively corresponding to the relevant rhythm patterns. Thus, the rhythm pattern can be extremely easily selected only by reading the bar code BC. |
