A binder for dry pressing ceramic pressing ceramic masses and glazes contain ester condensation products of polyol with dibasic or polybasic organic carboxylic acid residues. The binders are used in an amount equivalent to 0.1 to 10 % by weight of the solid matter content of the ceramic masses and glazes.
