PURPOSE:To provide the method and device for supporting result generation so as to integrally support the generation of required results. CONSTITUTION:By using contents in a result relation storage part 1 and contents in a result storage part 2, a processing candidate generation part 3 generates all the processing candidate information expressed by the pair of a processing type identifier corresponding to a processing possible to be executed next and a result identifier set as the set of the identifiers of results contained in the result storage part 2 to be processed. A processing selection part 4 starts the processing candidate generation part 3 and selects one of processing candidate information from the set of the processing candidate information generated by the processing candidate generation part 3 as the result of start. A processing part 5 executes a processing to the set of results corresponding to the result identifier set contained in the processing candidate information selected by the processing selection part 4 corresponding to the processing type identifier contained in the processing candidate information so as to generate the result and adds this result to the result storage part 2.
