<p>A method of controlling a wire cut discharge machine which improves machining accuracy when a corner portion is machined. When a portion to be machined is a corner portion, the pressure and/or quantity of cutting fluid to be fed to a gap between a work and a wire electrode is reduced for only a specific zone. Setting of this zone and feed regulation of cutting fluid are determined on the basis of an allowable radius and the shape and dimension of the corner portion. The discharge energy to be supplied between the work and the wire electrode is decreased simultaneously with the feed regulation of the machining liquid in the zone described above.</p> |
