<p>PURPOSE:To reduce a restrictive item supplied to each peripheral device and to improve reliability for a system and resolution for system monitoring in point of system configuration. CONSTITUTION:An optical serial bus 9 to extend the serial bus 6 of a CPU 1 to the outside is provided. and also, a light transmission/reception part 8 for signal transfer between both buses 6 and 9 is provided. Also, this system is comprised in such a way that monitoring parts 11-1 to 11-3 provided at cabinets 10-1 to 10-3 are connected to the optical serial bus 9, and every kind of state of each module in the cabinets 10-1 to 10-3 is monitored by the monitoring parts 11-1 to 11-3, and when abnormality is detected, a proper abnormality information signal representing the fact that the abnormality occurs in the cabinet and information (address) representing an abnormal module and abnormality specification are outputted to the optical serial bus 9 by an optical signal. The optical signal is converted to digital abnormality information signal and address by the light transmission/reception part 8 and they are informed to an arithmetic control processor 2 via the serial bus 6.</p> |
