PURPOSE:To display the format of the latest same sentence pattern set at the last time or the format of the same sentence pattern set in the nearest position in the case of format change. CONSTITUTION:Sentence information including Japanese sentences and English sentences together is stored in a sentence memory 3, and an input means 1 has a sentence pattern instructing key which instructs the sentence patterns of Japanese sentences and English sentences and a format instructing key which designates format information prescribing the output form or the like of each sentence pattern, and sentence pattern information instructed by the sentence pattern instructing key and format information instructed by the format instructing key are stored in a format memory in relation to prescribed positions of sentences, and format information meeting a preliminarily determined condition out of format information stored in the format memory is held in a format buffer. At the time of setting new format information, format information held in the format buffer is displayed as a reference on a display means 7. |
