PURPOSE:To effectively utilize energy from iron works and efficiently concen trate CO2 in global warming gas released from iron works. CONSTITUTION:Combustible gas (CO, H2) and non-combustible gas (CO2, N2) released from iron works are used for a fused carbonate fuel cell. Preheat of gas which is introduced to a fuel electrode and an oxygen electrode is attained by preheating of discharge gas from the oxygen electrode to flow through a heat exchanger and preheating by auxiliary combustion of combustible gas. Combined power generation is performed by afterburning of discharge gas from the fuel electrode and a steam tubine. Therefore highly efficient power generation is attained. And CO2 can be also concentrated. |
