<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the pressure drop and to improve the fluid contact efficiency and cleaning efficiency by using this packing. CONSTITUTION:This fluid-contact packing consists of a cylinder 10 and a corrugated sheet 11 inserted into the cylinder 10 and arranged in parallel, and the cylinders are appropriately stacked up in a fluid-contact tower and used. The apexes 11a and 11b of the angular bends of the corrugated sheet 11 are obliquely extended toward the axis of the cylinder 10, and the apexes 11a and 11b of the bends of the adjacent sheets 11 are installed to cross each other. Many protrusions 11d and plural through-holes 11e are provided to the plate part between the axes 11a and 11b of the bends of the sheet 11.</p> |
