Device (1) for warning of the underinflation of a tyre, mounted on the disc of the wheel of the tyre, comprising a fixed body (10) with two internal chambers (11, 12), one (11) of which is brought to the inflation pressure and the other (12) to atmospheric pressure, and which are separated by a moving mass (20). A locking means (30) prevents any displacement of the moving mass (20) while the inflation pressure is greater than a given threshold and releases the said moving mass (20) when the inflation pressure drops below the aforementioned inflation threshold. The moving mass (20) can therefore offcentre itself under the effect of centrifugal forces due to running, and create a dynamic out-of-balance force which can be perceived by the driver of the vehicle. <IMAGE>
