PURPOSE:To obtain high reliability in high-temp. and high-humidity resistance environmental resistance and light resistance while having excellent optical characteristic in the IR ray region by providing an intermediate thin-film layer between a base body consisting of a silver halide and a thin-film layer consisting of Sb2S3. CONSTITUTION:The thin-film layer 13 consisting of the Sb2S3 is provided on the base body 11 consisting of the silver halide and the intermediate thin-film layer 12 is provided between the base body 11 and the thin-film layer 13 consisting of the Sb2S3. The intermediate thin-film layer 12 is an inorg. oxide or inorg. fluoride. TiO2 is used as the inorg. oxide and BiF3 CeF3 are used as the inorg. fluoride. As a result, the reaction of the base body 11 consisting of the silver halide and the thin-film layer 13 consisting of the Sb2S3 is prevented by the introduction of the intermediate thin-film layer 12. The oxidation of the Sb2S3 is prevented by forming the extreme surface layer of materials, such as TiO and CeF3 having excellent environmental resistance and, therefore, the IR transmittability thereof is maintained over a long period of time. |
