METHOD FOR THE PREPARATION OF N-METHYL-N-CYCLOHEXYL-(2-AMINO-3, 5-DIBROMBENZYL)-AMINHYDROCHLORIDE

The synthesised compound is a broncholytic agent and is applicable in medicine. The yield thereafter is high and is within the prescribed prerequisites for environmental protection. According to the method, 2-nitrotoluol undergoes alkylation with N-methyl-N-cyclohexylamine to N-methyl-N-cyclohexyl-2-nitrobenzylamine, reduction with ammonium sulphide, followed by bromation of the prepared product with hydrobromic acid to N-methyl-N-cyclohexyl-(2-amino-3,5-dibrombenzyl)-amine, which is isolated as hydrochloric salt.
