PURPOSE:To obtain the video telephone by which an image reflected by a half mirror can be viewed at an angle conforming to choice. CONSTITUTION:A liquid crystal panel 28 and a half mirror 20 are connected through a hinge part 32 provided in a housing. This hinge part 32 is constituted of a claw part for detaining the half mirror 20 in a position inclined by a prescribed angle (for instance, 45 degrees) against the liquid crystal panel 28, and a one-way clutch for turning the liquid crystal panel 28 by interlocking it with turning of the half mirror 20 in a state that the liquid crystal panel 28 and the half mirror 20 are detained by the claw part. At the time of use, the upper cover 24 is opened, and the half mirror 20 is detained temporarily in a position inclined by a prescribed angle against the liquid crystal panel 28 by the claw part. Also, in the case it is desired to look at an image at an angle conforming to choice, the half mirror 20 is adjusted by turning it by using the hinge part 32 as a supporting point. In this case, the liquid crystal panel 28 is interlocked with turning of the half mirror 20 by the one-way clutch, and turned by using the hinge part 32 as a supporting point in a state that the prescribed angle is held. |
