PURPOSE:To provide a vector for gene cloning capable of easily selecting a recombinant integrated with an exogenic DNA fragment having a recognition nicking sites of various restriction enzyme for inserting various exogenic gene. CONSTITUTION:The objective vector has a base sequence coding an amino acid sequence same as the amino acid sequence coded by rcsB gene which is a regulator gene of E.coli capsule polysaccharide synthesis gene (cps). The base sequence is provided with an rcsB-like gene containing the base sequence of the nicking site of a prescribed restriction gene and, accordingly, the vector can produce a protein same as the protein (peptide) produced by rcsB gene and select the restriction enzyme nicking site unique to the constructing vector. |
