PURPOSE:To provide a finger image input device capable of easily and surely making a finger contact closely in spite of the degree of skill and the shape of finger of an individual and stably and surely inputting a finger image when the finger is inputted by placing on a finger contact part. CONSTITUTION:A finger placing part 4 formed at the upper plane part of a device main body and on the upper plane of which the finger contact part 3 on which the finger that is a body to be detected is placed is provided is protruded over the upper plane of the device main body so that the position of the finger can be set higher than the position of the fingers located at both sides of the part. Thereby, it is possible to make the fingers other than the one coming in contact free in natural shape, and to easily make the finger contact closely with the finger contact part 3. |
