An outlier (10) for one of the rear supports (4) is formed integrally with the case cover (7) and has a U-shaped profile, with the opening directed along the line of vehicle travel (R). ADVANTAGE - Support system using a simple casting as an outlier which is so dimensioned and positioned that it is not subject to torsional loads, and as a result can be relatively thin-walled.
