<p>PURPOSE:To automatically discriminate whether the mounted tape is of the length for 30 minutes use, 60 minutes use, or 90 minutes use, etc. CONSTITUTION:In one pulse extracting circuits 30, 32, the pulses of one each from pulse signals of each reel table are extracted and added in a pulse adding circuit 34 then passed through a periodic clock of the added pulse width in a gate circuit 36, and the number of clocks is counted by a counter. This number of clocks is corresponded to a reel wiring diameter. In a count detecting circuit 40, the kind of cassette tape is decided by the counted number of clocks.</p> |
