A prior-art door holding device has a large spring rod which, when operative on a forced movement is deformed along a runner, the catches of which are formed by two rollers on the axes, thus producing a braking or locking effect. The proposal is for a holding device consisting of a kinematic pair (1 and 2) in which the first part (1) has a runner or rack (7) with at least one detent (6) and the second part (2) has at least one restricted guidance track (8) along which a guide member (4) moves and, under the pressure of a spring (3), can be brought into engagement as a lock itself or via a locking component, especially a roller or a pin (5) fitted in a sliding bearing (9) in the guide member, directly or indirectly with the runner or rack (7) and can be locked in the detent (6). |
