A gear box installed in a vacuum pump for passenger cars comprises left and right casings (1)(2) connected to each other by a shaft casing (3). A DC motor is installed on the right side casing (2). A driving helical ger connected to the motor shaft (6) engages with a driven helical gear (8), whose shaft goes through the shaft casing to the left side casing (1) to form a vacuum cleaning part (A). A cylinder, connected to inlet and outlet holes (12)(13) and comprising a pump (16) including a piston (15), is mounted on the left side casing which includes a helical gear engaged with the helical ger of the shaft (9), and a clutch plate (21) and a cam plate (22) to activate the pump to form a cleaning part (B).
