PURPOSE:To obtain a distinctive contour and enable sufficient destaticization by simplifying the fitting device frame structure of a destaticization device by putting the center axis of a drum off the prolongation of a circuit board. CONSTITUTION:The destaticization device 3 is fitted in parallel to the side plate of an electric charger 2, namely, so that the surface where the bare chip LED 32 of the circuit board 31 is slantingly disposed in a radial direction of the photosensitive drum 1. The surface of the opening 33b of a lamp house 33 is so arranged that the nearly center part of a line of intersection with a plane perpendicular to the center axis of the photosensitive drum 1 is put closest to the peripheral surface of the photosensitive drum 1. Namely, the center axis of the drum 1 put off the prolongation of the circuit board 31. The structure of the device frame for fitting the destaticization device 3 to the recording device is therefore simplified and the circumference-directional light quantity distribution of light projected on the surface of the photosensitive drum 1 as to the destaticization device 3 becomes narrow and large in the maximum quantity of light, thereby performing the destaticization so that the contour is distinctive. |
