The apparatus comprises a service channel interfacing unit (10) for transmitting data of synchronous optical network supervisor, a subsupervisory controller (30) for receiving and processing performance and alarm data of the service channel interfacing unit; a performance checker (40) connected to the service channel interface unit and the subsupervisory controller to collect line performance data and alarm data, and a display (50) for displaying performance data.
