<p>PURPOSE:To obtain laminated paper easy to decompose under natural environment by laminating a thermoplastic decomposable polymer based on polylactic acid or a copolymer of lactic acid and oxycarboxylic acid to paper. CONSTITUTION:A polymer to be used is polylactic acid, a mixture of polylactic acid and other oxycarboxylic acid or a copolymer of lactic acid and other oxycarboxylic acid. As other oxycarboxylic acid, glycolic acid or 6- hydroxycaproic acid is used. Lactic acid is L-lactic acid, D-lactic acid or a mixture of them. As paper used in laminated paper, art paper or kraft paper is used. This paper may contain regenerated pulp. This laminated paper is excellent in strength and water resistance and has good surface gloss and beautiful appearance and the polymer component is decomposed in soil or water during a long time and does not damage the decomposition speed of paper originally decomposable.</p> |
