PURPOSE:To simplify the selecting work to improve the document preparing efficiency by permitting access to only character string candidates in a designated group at the time of document preparing work to select character string candidates. CONSTITUTION:In a step S6, it is discriminated whether the selected and settled item is 'month of letter sending' or not. If it is 'month of letter sending', a month is inputted in a step S7, and the processing is advanced to a step S8; but otherwise, it is discriminated whether the selected and settled item is 'seasonable greeting' or not, namely, whether the seasonable greeting style designation mode is set or not in a step S10. If it is not 'seasonable greeting', the processing is returned to a step S1 after the processing corresponding to the other key inputs in a step S4; but otherwise, a style is selected in a step S11, and the processing is returned to the step S1 after a selected style candidate group is set in a step S12. The set candidate group is displayed at the time of selection and settling, and candidates only in this range are selected. |
