PURPOSE:To enhance performance of oscillation wave motor by improving the frictional sliding face thereof. CONSTITUTION:In an oscillation wave motor wherein an oscillator 2 producing traveling oscillation wave is brought into pressure contact with a mover(rotor), i.e., a sliding member 6 of composite resin layer applied on the surface of a support 5, through a compression spring member 14 so that the mover 7 is rotated with frictional force, the slider 6 is composed of a composite resin having Rockwell hardness(HRM) of 80-110 and the frictional face of the oscillator 2 is formed of a chromium film in which nitrogen or carbon atoms having Vickers hardness(HV) of 1000-2000 are dissolved in solid state. |
