A generator coil cleaning method is provided to reduce the time and cost for cleaning and recycling a copper coil used in a generator. A generator coil cleaning method includes a step of cleaning a generator coil by using an ultrasonic cleaning system having a unit for passing ultrasonic wave through a solution and a step of cleaning the generator coil by using a vibration cleaning system having a unit for inducing vibration through particulate medium which may include many ceramic particles. The ultrasonic cleaning step may include a step of immersing the generator coil in the solution for about one to four hours. The vibration cleaning step may include a step of immersing the generator coil in the particulate medium for about an hour.
