PURPOSE:To easily produce a toner contg. hydrophobic fine particles and a functional property imparting agent in the shell layer and having a tough coating film of a controlled thickness at a stroke without passing through a complex process. CONSTITUTION:At least fine resin particles are stuck on the surfaces of core particles, the core particles are treated with a mixture prepd. by adding at least a functional property imparting agent and/or hydrophobic fine particles to a solvent dissolving the fine resin particles and the treated particles are dried and recovered. The resulting toner undergoes no change in the electrophotographic characteristics such as electrostatic chargeability and flowability with the lapse of time, ensures stable quality and always gives a clear image. |
