PURPOSE: To provide a case whose sectional face is adaptable for the sectional shape of an article to be contained and which optimally supports the side face of the article, by providing at least five side faces in the case made of a thin plate and provided with adjacent square or rectangular side faces through mutually parallel folding lines. CONSTITUTION: A pattern plate F1 made of a thin plate is provided with eight sheets of rectangular panels 1-8 arranged in order, and these panels are connected mutually through parallel folding lines 9-15 preliminarily formed. Tongue flaps 16 are arranged at the end panels. Further, respective flaps 18, 19 are attached to both sides of respective panels 1-7, and connected to hinge the corresponding panels 1-7 by preliminarily formed respective folding lines 20, 21. Panels 2, 4, 6, 8 are not provided with side flaps. This case assembled from the pattern plate 1 has eight side faces corners in accordance with respective folding lines 9, 17 and the corners have a larger compression-resistance than a case with a rectangular section. |
